My grandpa and grandma both passed away. And I get one gun of his collection. Im not sure if this is in the right section or not, but im on alot of truck forums.

Im trying to do some research and ive never researched guns before.. So I need help.. The one gun that I wanted he no longer has or we cant find it still.. a 30-06 rifle with scope..

Trying to figure out which is the best to get.. They all have the same centimental value, but which is worth the most?

Some of the names a model numbers..

Hawkin Rifle Model 292.51779 .50 cal muzzel loader

J.C. Higgins Model 101.1 (single shot 12 gauge)

Remmington .22 Model 511 (bolt action)

For right now I want the J.C. higgins

I wouldn't worry about which on is worth the most unless you plan to sell it. I'd choose the one I thought I'd get the most use from.

So what is your plan for a gun?

I agree with Timmmmm. If you don't plan on selling it, pick one that you would get the most use out of. Pick one you are comfortable to have and have fun with it and create more memories with friends and family.
