Does anyone have a good link to a surplus dealer selling "military pulldown" 5.56 and/or 7.62 bullets at a good price???

Please don't laugh at me but what is miltary pulldown?I don't reload so I don't know the lingo but know people who reload.

For various reasons, military ammunition is removed from service, and the bullets are pulled, the powder is dropped, and sometimes tha cases are deprimed. This is called "pulling down."

The components are usually sold by the ton.

"Pulldown" bullets and powder aren't generally quite as accurate as brand new, but the're far less expensive, and perfect for short range, rapid fire practice reloads.

Some are a little out of round, but an easy fix just run them through a LEE push through sizer of the appropriate size,walla round bullets.

www.patsreloading.com maybe some of the resized Russian left. 223 don't keep up with.

I don't believe any one any where is selling the original 30-06 or 308 pulls in any volume. I cleaned out the .308 147's a couple years ago.
