Do you think Hornady's critical defense ammo really has more reliable expansion? Or is what they claim about thick clothing clogging conventional hollow points just a marketing line? Has anybody done any field tests with hollow points and thick clothing?

Where you place the bullets is still the most important, I was just curious.

Tests that I've seen show that clothing will clog a holloe point thus inpeeding the effectivness of it's expantion.
Also the tests I've seen on the Hornaday's seem to verify thier claim and produce very good expantion through clothing.
Winchester PDX is also an effective hollow point when penetrating clothing.
