Hey guys I need a little information or help if you can.

I have a gun that was given to me as a birthday present about 15 to 16 years ago. It's a 20 ga Bolt Action with a 2 round clip. It has interchangeable chokes and it will shoot 2 3/4 - 3 inch shells. I have been looking these guns up. I have looked this gun up, but only through the pictures I have found am I able to get a semi glimpse at what I have. The gun is old and I cant find the serial number or model on the barrel or anywhere on the gun for that matter. I have found different guns that look like mine and all of them are from the 40s and 50s ( I THINK ). Like I said I'm not sure, and if it is one of those guns I may be sitting on a small fortune. Please help me if you can.

A picture would be really helpful, or a few of them.

The number of differant makes and models of bolt-action shotguns manufactured in just the 40's and 50's probably number in the several hundreds.

With just the information you have provided there is absolutely no way ANYONE could tell you what you have.
Since there is so little information stamped on the shotgun itself we will need another means of identification.
This means pictures and possiably measurements.

I can tell you that your shotgun was manufactured before 1967.
This is because after GCA'67 (Gun Control Act of 1967) was passed all newly manufactured firearms had to have a serial number clearly stamped onto it.

I can also tell you that your shotgun is probably not worth very much.
I am basing that statement on the fact that there is no manufacturers name or model number stamped on the gun.
Chances are it is probably one of the many inexpensively manufactured, utilitarian, working guns made and sold during the period.

Please bare in mind that I could be wrong and you might have valuable a weapon, however we can not know for certain until we identify it for you.
